The South Portland Business Association is one of 36 unique business district associations in the Portland Metro Area. Our BDA mirrors the South Portland Neighborhood Association and is bordered by I-405 to the north, Barbur Blvd on the west, the Sellwood Bridge on the south, and the Willamette River on the east.

The district footprint covers the Johns Landing, Lair Hill and South Waterfront Neighborhoods. Within our boundaries lie over 700 businesses which provides a plethora of options for residents of the area and customers from all corners of the city.

The South Portland Business Association is dedicated to improving the business climate of the defined geographic region by creating networking opportunities with business owners and stakeholders, hosting best practices seminars, seeking and implementing marketing opportunities for its members, and increasing communication amongst members which strengthens the business community allowing organized efforts to enhance our business district.
